SJI International won the first indoor U12's cricket competition on Saturday 7 March 2009 at United World College. SJII beat the Stingers Cricket Club in the final. A total of 32 players participated in the 4 teams playing a total of 8 matches. The other 2 teams in the competition were the British Club Juniors and Tanglin Trust School.
The GIIS Cup 2008 came to a successful close last weekend with United World College of South East Asia coming good when it really mattered. They cruised to victory against the previously undefeated Overseas Family School in the semi-finals and in a tense final beat the Singapore Cricket Club. Their successful weekend was brought about by excellent team work, tight bowling, brilliant fielding and explosive batting.
From October 20-24, 2008 APSM hosted the inaugural U15 & U19 Boys & Girls Basketball Youth Cup. Several clubs from India, Australia and teams from Singapore confirmed their participation to play an exciting week of basketball.

On August 26, the Great Britain and South African Paralympic Wheelchair Basketball teams competed in the opening game of a 5 game series organized by APSM and hosted by United World College in order to prepare for the Paralympic Games in Beijing. Singapore Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports, Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan and members of the Youth Olympics 2010 organizing committee were in attendance for what was the closest game of the series. The Tip Off for the opening game was performed by the British High Commissioner and all in attendance were in awe at this International class wheelchair basketball.
