Asia Pacific Sports Management Pte Ltd. (APSM) has been incorporated as a Singaporean company in January 2006 by its founders Mr. Ulli Niedermeyer (APSM Managing Director) and Mr. John McAuliffe (APSM Secretary).
Ulli has over 20 years experience in sports coaching and administration, events management and teaching Physical Education in Germany, England, Australia and Singapore. Ulli holds a Bachelor of Physical Education degree from Australia, a UEFA ‘B’ coaching license and an MBA (Sport Management) from the University of Liverpool, UK. John McAuliffe since moving with his wife and children to Singapore from Melbourne in 1995, has been Head Basketball coach at United World College of South East Asia, Singapore. John, a fully qualified Australian Level 2 coach, has been instrumental in founding and administrating the ‘International Schools Invitational Basketball League’ (ISIBL) and establishing the newly founded 'Community Basketball League' (CBL). Both leagues involve over 150 teams involving 1800 participants.
Vision It is APSM’s ambition is to become a most proactive and dynamic agent in developing and establishing sporting opportunities for young people in Singapore and beyond.
Future Objectives ASPM is confident to achieve the following key objectives: Increase opportunities for young people of all ages to participate in quality programs involving the sports of football, basketball, swimming and gymnastics in partnership with established sporting clubs, schools and other sports associations in Singapore and across South East Asia. Create a synergy between business partners and sporting groups to establish partnerships which possess substantial commercial benefits for all participants. This in turn,will provide resources to enable young people from low income families to participate in community sports programmes. Foster ongoing and lasting relationships between multi cultural communities towards a better understanding, mutual respect and support through sport.

Key Strategies - Provide coaching services and events management assistance to schools, and establish community league competitions that create opportunities for young athletes to participate in sports at the the recreational to high performance level thoughout the year.
 - Establish partnerships with commercial partners, governments, and other businesses that consider the international sporting stage as an effective and exciting platform to promote and enhance their products, services, brand and business profile.
- Conduct fundraising events which support communities in need within developing countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia, and Sri Lanka.
APSM’s current Programmes & AchievementsPrograms and services provided by ASPM currently involve over 3000 young people throughout the year in Singapore. I.S.I.B.L. APSM administers the International Schools Invitational Basketball League (ISIBL) which involves 27 Singaporean and international schools who field 120 teams involving a total of over 1300 participants that compete in under 12 – 19 boys/girls team leagues.  2006 Champions Tanglin Trust School Girls 
The CBL was established in January 2007 to offer young people the opportunity to play basketball throughout the year in addition to existing school programs. In the inaugural season 19 community clubs fielded 42 teams in U12 – 20 Boys/Girls League. Season 3 is to commence in the middle of September 2007. 
School Coaching ServicesAPSM has established partnerships with a number of schools including United World College of SEA, International School of Singapore and German European School of Singapore to provide coaching services for the sports of football and basketball.
